About Gilda's Cup

On Saturday March 23, 2019 the PRIMA Group of St. John Fisher College will host the Sixth Annual Gilda’s Cup to raise awareness and funding for Gilda's Club of Rochester.

Colleges from the Western New York area will come together for a collegiate improvisation competition in hopes of winning the Gilda's Cup. A judging panel of local media extraordinares will decide who has brought the most talent and laughs to the audience on this wonderful night of friendly competition while supporting Gilda's Club Rochester.

ABOUT GILDA'S CLUB:

The organization is named after famous Saturday Night Live comedienne Gilda Radner who passed away from ovarian cancer in 1989. Gilda’s Club Rochester offers free support to men, women, teens, and children impacted by cancer. Gilda’s spirit lives on, offering more than 1,200 free programs each year to more than 17,000 men, women, and children.

The programs emulate Radner’s philosophy of laughter and love. Gilda’s Club Rochester strives to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.
